  3. anybody else got problems with getting dizzy after forward folds? especially the one around the 15 minute mark… this happens to me a lot and i'm wondering what i could do to prevent this from happening

  4. My god, Adriene really is the best yoga instructor I've found online. This practice really got me though. I would be lying if I said I didn't look up "yoga for core and booty" for a self-conscious reason. I'm looking to target them because I want to have a tinier belly, and a more perky booty. I didn't look this practice out in an effort to support my body more, or energize myself for today. And it seemed like Adriene knew that most of us were coming from that place, and she knew it was important to create a safe space, and to give us space in the practice to focus on how we want to support and love our bodies rather than change them.
    I've been doing Yoga with Adriene for years now, and I don't think Ive ever found a yoga instructor that focuses not only so much on supporting and loving the body, but so much focus on the love of the inner body, the inner self. I always leave her practices feeling emotionally held. Wow.

  6. Great session! Have to be careful around the lower back area, but it felt good! Hopefully the spasms have left the area. Chest got a good workout with the planks. I feel that planks can be a good substitute for crunches since the strain is in the core and not on the back muscles. Who knows. Thanks and not to enjoy the rest of the day! Thanks Tex!

  7. And today I learned that I’ve been doing squats incorrectly since middle school gym class – its about the glutes on that raise. Also, my hamstrings after doing those went from strung bowstrings to chill in about a second flat. That alone made me sigh a sweaty victory. Namaste Adriene and thank you.

  8. here i am thinking i either did everything wrong or i've become really strong lol. bc that workout was indeed sweaty and strengthening but… it wasn't that hard for me?? maybe doing YWA for almost every single day in the last 2 years is finally paying off!

  9. Oh dear, after that sequence of squats, when I lay down and think "the best part is coming!", I get Adriene's gentle invitation to tone the abs… She makes it so nice and easy that I just can't refuse and not follow her. This is her magic!

  10. Thank you Adriene for today’s practice. It helped me to let go of some guilt I was holding onto, and that I don’t need to carry. It was difficult to follow my breath because I was crying, but I let myself cry and then get back on track.
