Yin Yoga For Upper Body | Release All Your Stress In 20 Minutes : Boho Beautiful Yoga
This Yin Yoga class for upper body is going to be fully targeted on releasing tension and stiffness in your neck, shoulders, arms, and upper back. This restorative yoga practice using yin yoga poses to release upper body soreness & stiffness for the physical body, and emotional and mental stress that you may be holding deep within. We will move gently and slowly through each yoga posture and hold selected asanas for two and half minutes to encourage a really deep myofascial release.

Remember, breathing is a very important factor in any Yin Yoga class so through out this entire practice make sure you’re taking deep breaths in and long slow exhales out. Bring oxygen to your muscles, organs, and mind. Re-energize your nervous system, let go of stress and tension, and become fully present in each moment of each posture as you let go of the past with each exhale you make.

What is Yin Yoga?

Yin Yoga is a style of yoga practice that targets the connective tissues, such as the ligaments, bones, and even the joints of the body that normally are not exercised very much in a more active style of asana practice.

Suitable for almost all levels, Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic and muscular (yang) styles of yoga that emphasize internal heat, and the lengthening and contracting of our muscles. Yin Yoga generally targets the connective tissues of the hips, pelvis, and lower spine.

  2. Perfect relieve for my herniation after auto injury. (make sure you don't have food in your stomach, the best position at the end, sometimes made me want to throw up if there is food)

  3. Thankk youuuuuuu!!!!! This is my first Yin Yoga class ever, I usually do a hatha or a vinyassa class every day, but WOW, this is sensational!!! Thank you again, will be doing this class frequently now! <3

  4. Didn't like this one. A lot of steps missing, like hips aligned in threat the needle or abs engagement in puppy. Really crucial steps for protecting the lower back. Way to much talking too, really forced myself to finish this practice beacuase I don't like to not finish what I started but to be honest, not a good one.

  7. Thank you! I used to dance ballet and had impeccable posture. Now fast forward 15 years and a desk job later, my posture is terrible and I feel so tight in the upper back and shoulders. This workout was so needed. The puppy pose killed! I feel so much better after this. Will add this routine to my weekly workout.
