Total Body Yoga – Deep Core – Yoga With Adriene

Total Body Yoga – Deep Core is a 20 min practice for building strength as well as increasing flexibility and blood flow. Feel great from head to toe with this total body – deep core workout.

Meet your appropriate edge and light a little fire to get CENTERED and strong. NO crunches necessary!!!

An important foundation of yoga (and life) is a strong, engaged core. This is a great yoga video to bookmark and come back to again and again as it helps to tone the abdominal wall and increase strength in the deeper core muscles, helping to create that foundation.

Breathe deep as we work to create muscle tone, then round it all off with a sweet vinyasa flow.

Let me know how it goes for you in the comment section down below.

  1. Hello sweet friends! Remember, we are as calm, centered, healthy and peaceful as our center. Be kind, be kind, be kind. What is something kind you've done for yourself lately?

  2. I have the membership, but wanted to leave a comment here. This is my second time doing this video. The first time was three days ago, and I decided to let muscle recovery work its magic. Lo and behold, muscle recovery came through and this exercise was more bearable. I’ve always had weak core muscles, and Yoga With Adriene has really helped me build on them. While planks and side planks are doable, I still have some work to do to be where I want to be. Lo and behold, muscle recovery came through and this go-around was more bearable.

  3. Wow wow wow deeeeepp Core indeed! feeling good as I enjoy the flow.
M re reading my post and think – the act of be kind to self N others is showing up for self / my intentions.
Being on the mat and reminder to be mindful in my words / actions and others
    Namaste to all practising

  4. That felt incredibly awesome! I haven't had the time to do these somewhat longer practices for a while, so I am a bit out of touch, so I was afraid I was gonna struggle a lot. But I almost forgot how good that struggle felt! Thanks Adriene!

  5. Please don't get me wrong. I love this video, it's Great!!! But I decided to follow Benji in this life 3:

  6. Feels Great!!! Particular after a week layoff due to hip bursitis. Hip feels a lot better, but I miss the stretches and deep breathing! Yoga is still a great form of therapy, both physical and mental. Appreicate ya

  7. Quite enjoyed this one tonight. I can't do a decent flow at the moment as my shoulder is hurting so it's belly flops the whole way through for me temporarily 🙈😂

  8. I was so scared to do this session because my core is clearly my weak spot, but I tried to stay calm all the way through, and be compassionate with myself, taking brakes without judgement, and I finished the practice with the biggest smile. I'll come back to it to track my progress, cause BOY, i only did half of the exercices at the beginning !

  9. Okay, I am back after switching this out yesterday. Always a little tough during parts of this.

Nourish day 18 (on the 19th). 411 days in a row.

  10. Day 18 complete my sister still liked it. For me a lot of small things were not working correctly and collectively ruined the workout for me today. 11/18/2021

  11. Amazing practice and my core is screaming. No matter how hard I try to suck in/zip up the core though I still have moments of feeling it in my back. Would love a standing ab yoga with adriene session if possible.

  12. I was hesitant about today's core practice because I wasn't in the mood for hard and intense. But Adriene has a way of easing you into it that by the time it gets really hard you feel "I've made it this far, might as well finish and do a modification if need be."

    Nourish – November 2021

  13. Tried this after a day's work at the retirement home and over 12,000 steps recorded. A little challenging for me but feel alive afterwards. Usuallyl I practice before work. Think I prefer to start my day with yoga rather than end it.

  14. I accidentally did "total body yoga deep stretch" instead of "…deep core" but I noticed it was already planned for 28th so I'm swapping those two days 😂 felt so good no matter what! 👌🏻

  15. Woohoo! This was tough but every time we reached a point that became especially difficult, we moved on soon after. I feel energized, and the icy cold morning no longer feels icy haha! I haven't done a core workout in a while. This was needed. I'm so grateful for my body and for a renewed commitment to practice and treat my body well. Thanks Adriene!

  16. Straight off a health exam with endoscopy, no sedation, I switched out and did the Nov. 25 calendar practice. Felt really good after that bad rollercoaster ride this morning.

I will return to this one this week.

Nourish day 18. 410 days in a row.

  17. woo this one got me good! perfect balance of ease and challenge. thank you adriene for the loving invitation to meet our edge!
